Girls Getaway
We came, we shopped, we wined & dined and we loved every minute! This is my second stay in Cottage Chic Loft. Indulge Food & Wine Festival brought me here last fall, for a fun-filled Girls Weekend. This spring I returned on a much quieter mission, for some R & R (and a little shopping therapy) with a good friend. There's no doubt there will be a third and fourth and fifth visit too, as I just can't get enough of this place!
Charming and Fresh
Besides being close to it all, this downtown loft apartment is a real charmer. It encompasses the entire top two floors, above the owner's own 'Cottage Chic' storefront and the romantic one-bedroom waterfront Annex apartment at the back. The1860's building has been thoroughly renovated to offer an open modern living space while still maintaining its historical character in its lovely bones. Cottage Chic Loft has a fresh, white, cottage-style and a beachy feel. New appliances (a whisper-quiet dishwasher, an ice-making freezer, and state of the art stove) have you wanting for nothing. Beds and furniture are also comfy and the Master king-sized bed is downright sumptuous!
Open and Inviting
We really enjoyed the open living space, unwinding after full days 'out & about'. The open-concept kitchen-living area made life easy. From pulling together wine and cheese offerings to savouring morning coffees and making brekkie, we had everything we wanted and felt 'at home' curled up on the cozy sofa & chairs chatting away or watching a tear-jerker movie (or two) on Netflix. Thank goodness our hostess had lots of tissues available too. ;-) Seriously, this apartment has it all & makes you return again and again. What more could you ask for?
Location, Location, Location
Located conveniently in the heart of Historic St. Andrews By-The-Sea makes this apartment perfect for exploring everything this quaint picturesque resort town has to offer.
It is a big perk being so close to shopping, restaurants, parks and the wharf. On both visits, we made convenient pit stops to drop off shopping bags to lighten our loads for more treasure hunting and we all found it handy to pop in to change our footwear, grab a sweater or jacket or even ... use the facilities. It is that easy when you're right in the middle of it all. You can't beat it!
Cottage Chic Annex
If a romantic getaway is what you are craving, Janis has a beautiful one-bedroom waterfront apartment with breathtaking views of Passamaquoddy Bay. Consider bringing your partner to St. Andrews By-The-Sea, whether for a special beach front escape to celebrate a special occasion or for a golf vacay or perhaps just to recharge and reconnect. Whatever the reason, make sure you enjoy some time together to raise a glass & soak up golden sunsets on your own private deck. It's one of the best views in town.
